Locomotive FC goalkeeper Logan Ketterer returning to club
EL PASO, Texas - There's no place like home, and Locomotive FC goalkeeper Logan Ketterer is returning to his home club.
Team officials confirm to ABC-7 that the star goalie has rejoined the team following his two week loan to MLS club, the Portland Timbers.
The Timbers were in need of a goalie at the time due to injuries at the position.
Ketterer was phenomenal during his time with the Timbers as he recorded two clean sheets in his first two matches with the club.
He struggled during his last match with the Timbers when he allowed three goals in the 3-0 loss to Philadelphia.
Ketterer is now back with the Locomotive, a team he's been a part of since their inaugural season back in 2019.
Ketterer has only played one game this season with the Locomotive, and that was the season opener against New Mexico United, a match that ended in a 1-1 draw.
Because of the close turnaround, it doesn't appear Ketterer will get the start this week when the team heads to Austin to take on the Austin Bold FC on Wednesday.
That job will go to Adrian Zendejas who is currently on loan to the Locomotive FC from Minnesota United FC.
Zendejas was brought in as a replacement for Ketterer, while Ketterer was on loan to the Timbers.
