KLAQ offers ‘double the terror’ with 2 Halloween haunted houses

EL PASO, Texas -- Scares and screams can now be heard on both sides of El Paso this Halloween.

A second KLAQ haunted house on the westside of El Paso seeks to bring "double the terror and double the scare," says the radio station's General Manager Brad Dubow.

The annual KLAQ Haunted House, which is located at 13900 Montana Avenue near Desert Warrior Paintball, will continue to bring fright to all who enter "The Field Have Eyes" maze.

But this year, the ghouls at KLAQ and Townsquare Media have opened a second haunted house at Sunland Park Mall.

"The Haunted Theater" will tingle your spine with horror scenes from the most terrifying flicks ever to be shown on the silver screen.

Dubow also explained what they're doing to keep visitors safe during the pandemic.

"On the westside they are doing their best to keep their distance between the parties.  On the eastside, because its outside, it's not as much.  We clean after every evening.  We definitely maintain the facilities in this Covid environment," Dubow explained.

Both locations opened their doors to fright seekers last month and will close them for good at midnight on All Hollow's eve.

Admission is $25 on the westside and $20 for the eastside location; student discounts are offered with valid ID.

The hours of operation are Thursday & Sunday 7 PM -10 PM, Friday & Saturday 7 PM – 12 AM.
