ABC-7 First Alert: Much Stronger winds Wednesday – then cooler air

Strong winds hit the Borderland hard Wednesday with wind gusts around 55 mph. Some blowing dust and sand are possible during the afternoon. Secure that outdoor patio furniture, trampolines, and other loose objects.

Winds will weaken after 6 pm with colder air spilling in behind the cold front. Temps Thursday are expected to be in the mid 50's.
