Hawkins scores 25 points to lead Creighton past St. John’s

NEW YORK — Arthur Kaluma made a layup with 2:02 remaining to give Creighton the lead en route to an 81-78 win over St. John’s on Wednesday night. Ryan Hawkins had 25 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Bluejays. Montez Mathis led the Red Storm with 15 points.
