NMSU baseball lands in Corvallis Regional for NCAA Tournament; Aggies to face #3 Oregon State Friday

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - Corvallis, Oregon – The Aggies are coming.
After clinching the WAC Baseball Tournament title, the NM State Aggies clinched the conference's automatic qualifier bid and will head to the Pacific Northwest to compete in the Corvallis Regional, hosted by Oregon State.
The trip to the NCAA Tournament is just the sixth in NM State history.
The Aggies look to make history with the first NCAA Tournament win in school history.
The postseason run will begin with Oregon State, the regional host, and third overall seed.
First pitch will be thrown on Friday, June 3 at 8 p.m. MT and will be televised on ESPN U.
Oregon State comes in with a 44-15 record and finished 20-10 in Pac-12 play.
Vanderbilt and San Diego will also join the Aggies in Corvallis.
The trip to Oregon marks the 16th consecutive season in which the Commodores have been postseason bound.
San Diego clinched the West Coast Conference's automatic bid after winning the tournament.
