Small earthquake felt near Jal, New Mexico

JAL, New Mexico (KVIA) -- A 2.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded just outside of Jal, New Mexico, Tuesday evening.

The U.S. Geological Survey said it happened around 7 p.m.

Jal, New Mexico is about 60 Miles North of Pecos, Texas.

Some viewers told ABC-7 they felt the earthquake in El Paso.
