First ever El Paso Children’s Business fair to be held

EL PASO, Texas -- Sometimes kids come up with good ideas and now they'll be able win money for it. Youth Biz Academy El Paso is hosting the first annual El Paso Children's Business Fair.

Children have the opportunity to showcase one of their own products or services. They're responsible for setting up their booth, interacting their customers and their sales all on their own with no help from their parents.

They'll have the chance cash prizes of $25 to kids ages six through 14. They'll be judged on categories like "Most Business Potential," "Most Creative Idea," and "Most Impressive Presentation."

The event is happening Saturday, June 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ponder Park near Cielo Vista Mall.

It is free and open to the public.
