Vitalant teams up with local law enforcement for annual ‘Respond to the Call’ Blood Drive
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- Local first responders in El Paso and Las Cruces are calling on the community and each other to donate blood for the annual 'Respond to the Call' Blood Drive hosted by Vitalant.
This is the 15th year the event has been put on which has resulted in more than 4,000 blood donations.
"The event will bring together police, sheriff’s deputies, fire departments, and paramedics joining forces to promote the importance of blood donation, which these dedicated professionals see the need for on a weekly basis," Vitalant said in a statement."

Donors will get a ‘grunt style’ T-shirt, a ‘goodie bag," and automatic entry into Vitalant’s $10,000 June giveaway where donors can win one of two ten thousand dollar gift cards.
