Texas Gov. Allows El Paso To Speak About Border Security

EL PASO, TX. – Texas Governor Rick Perry is offering a chance for the public to air its concerns about border security.

The newly appointed Border Security Council will hold meetings in several border communities, including El Paso. All part of the state’s newest border security surge, Operation Border Star, officials describe the program as a high-intensity, multi-agency effort focused on reducing crime in border areas.

During the public forums, the community is encouraged to voice their concerns relating to strengthening safety and security along our border. El Pasoans will get their chance to voice concerns october third at 8:30 a.m. in El Paso City Hall chambers.
