EPPD: West EP Alleged Gunman Turns Self In

EL PASO — The search for a man who threatened two restaurant workers with a shotgun ended Thursday evening with the alleged suspect turning himself in to El Paso Police.

EPPD Spokesman Chris Mearstells ABC-7 that the man suspected of yelling and threatening two men in the Cincinnati Street area Thursday afternoon.

He turned himself in to police atEPPD headquarters at about 6:50pm Thursday evening. The weapon he was seen carrying was recovered earlier in the day.

Investigators said police were searching neighborhoods, going from backyard to backyard.

The name of the man is not being released.
