Are You Ready For DTV?

The future of television is here, and analog is on its way out.

As of February 17, 2009, viewers who don’t have satellite, cable, or a converter box hooked to their television, will no longer be able to see any channels through their analog signal.

The days of using those rabbit ear antennas to get a signal will be long gone, and for so many, that means it’s time to buy new equipment.

Viewers who have cable or satellite will not be affected. Those who do not subscribe to those services, will need a converter box. The boxes cost between $40.00 and $70.00.

The government will issue coupons to get $40.00 off the converter box.

If you need help with the switch, call 1-888-DTV-2009.
