Commissioners Approve $259,000 For Ascarate Bathrooms
EL PASO COUNTY, Texas — At Monday’s Commissioners Court meeting, commissioners approved the spending of $259,000 to build two bathroom buildingsat Ascarate Park.
At first vote, commissioners passed over the bathroom issue because only four representatives were at the meeting and two were against the measure.
When Luis Sarinana arrived, the measure passed with his support and support from Veronica Escobar and Miguel Teran. The measure is the latest effort to improve the park. No word on when construction will begin.
