Council Urges PSB Cooperation For Potential Northeast Land Sale
EL PASO — City Council approved 7-1 a resolution urging the Public Service Board to work with the city to expedite the potential sale of a 1,000-acre property in northeast El Paso.
Redco needed the city to work out the details in order to continue pursuing leads for a possible auto plant or biomedical plant in El Paso.
The PSB usually only leases land, but the mayor said they will work with the city to make the deal happen.
