Police: Car Crashed Into A Telephone Pole In Central El Paso

EL PASO — Emergency crews rushed two people to Thomason Hospital after a wreck early Sunday morning. One of them sustained life-threatening injuries, according to EMS.

The crash happened at about 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Clark and Welch in Central El Paso.

According to police, a car hit a telephone pole and the driver may have been drunk.

Police did not release the names of the victims, but said one of them was bleeding severely from the head.
