Sun Bowl Parking Information

Parking is very limited around Sun Bowl Stadium. Please consider carpooling or using park-and-ride city-bus shuttle service through Sun Metro. If you do arrive early to navigate through traffic, walk to the stadium and pass through security.

Special close-up parking permits are available on a very limited basis as an added benefit to Captain’s Club ticket holders and those who purchase four $60 (Premium) tickets or four $50 (Preferred) tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Please note: Tailgating is prohibited in the parking garage.

• Off Schuster Avenue, southwest of the Sun Bowl between Hawthorne St. and I-10.

• On Sun Bowl Drive between the Don Haskins Center and Mesa St.

• On the inner campus off University Avenue.

• In the Rudolph parking lot on Mesa St., north of the Don Haskins Center.

• On side streets and in neighborhoods adjacent to the university campus.

• Parking for patrons with disabilities is located at the north-end parking lot (P-9), as well as in the R-6 parking lot off Sun Bowl Drive, at the Helen of Troy Softball Complex. Very limited parking for physically challenged spectators will be available on the west side of the stadium. Please contact the Sun Bowl Association offi ce concerning access to these lots and portions of Sun Bowl Drive. All vehicles entering these lots must display a valid handicap placard or license and be prepared to present identification upon entry.

• Complimentary shuttle service will be available through First Transit from lot R-6 on Sun Bowl Drive to the north-end and west side of parking lot between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

• Sun Bowl volunteers will be available outside the north and south ends of the stadium in the information/shuttle tent to provide wheelchair and transportation assistance.

• Oversized-vehicle parking for RV’s, campers and trailers is located in lot A-13 on Schuster Avenue. To reach this lot on game day you must use Mesa Street; turn west onto Schuster Avenue or take the Schuster Avenue/ University of Texas at El Paso exit (18A) off I-10. Follow Schuster Avenue; parking is located in the first lot on the right.

• A tow vehicle or fifth wheel may accompany the RV, but once detached it must be parked outside of this lot. No golf carts, 4-wheelers, quads, etc, may move through this parking lot.

• Overnight parking is allowed in the parking lot beginning at 3 p.m., Wednesday, December 30. No facilities or hookups available.

• Please call the Sun Bowl Association office to obtain a parking pass and map. There is no charge for this pass, and it is not required to park in this lot.

• Information for local RV parks is available at www.visitelpaso.com and www.elpasosouthwest.com.
