Sun Bowl Gameday Information

ATM banking units are located inside the gate at the north end of the Sun Bowl Stadium in front of section 13 on the east side concourse area of section 23.

A variety of food and beverages can only be purchased with cash. Beer will be sold until the end of the third quarter.

Guest information tables are located near the north and south entrances, below the press box on the west side and throughout the concourse level of the stadium. Information/ shuttle tents are located outside of the north and south ends of the stadium.

Containers (thermal fl asks, cans, bottles etc.), coolers, signs, banners, flags, umbrellas, video cameras, food, beverages, alcohol, narcotics, pets (other than service animals), laser pointers, weapons, fireworks, strollers, whistles. There is no area to store or check prohibited items. Please leave them in your vehicles.

This service is located on the east side of the stadium in the volunteer tent, on the concourse outside of section 23. Weekdays after the game, call 915.533.4416 or 800.915.BOWL.

Medical personnel are on duty throughout the stadium. Please contact the nearest usher or security personnel for assistance. The first aid office is on the concourse outside section 10 and on the east side by section 23.

You may take still photographs of the game from your seat. Video and movie cameras are not permitted inside the stadium.

Big 12 fan seating sections are on the west side (visitors) of the stadium, while Pac-10 sections are located on the east side (home).

Bags of reasonable size (as determined by event staff) will be allowed into the stadium; however all bags, including purses, will be subject to search upon entrance to the stadium. Fans who leave the stadium will have their bags searched upon reentry. All patrons are subject to search and/or wanding by security personnel.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the stadium.

Stadium gates open at 9:30 a.m. Ticketed fans may walk through the stadium between 9:30 a.m. and the noon kickoff. A ticket and stamp will be necessary in order to re-enter the stadium. No re-entry will be allowed if a patron leaves the stadium after kickoff.

Stadium seats 18 inches in width and smaller will be allowed in to the stadium. Stadium cushions will be available for rent for the game at all entrances to the stadium.

Tailgating or picnicking in the parking lot is permitted only in front of or behind your vehicle and not in an adjacent space. Tailgate space will be limited so that traffic will not be obstructed. Vehicles must be parked in only one space. No overnight tailgating will be allowed on the university property, with the exception of the oversized-vehicle parking lot. Tailgating is prohibited in the parking garage.

On game day, Thursday, December 31, tickets will be available beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the north and south Sun Bowl Stadium ticket offices. No phone orders will be accepted. Children ages 2 and younger are admitted free (child must sit on the lap of ticketed patron accompanying the child).

For tickets purchased through the Sun Bowl Association or TicketMaster, Will Call is located at both the north and south ticket offices outside the stadium beginning at 9:30 a.m. Please present the ticket account number and a photo ID to obtain tickets.

Will Call for tickets purchased through participating universities as well as player guest tickets is located in the trailer outside the north-end stadium gates. Look for the sign with the name of the participating institution on the side of the trailer.

Media Will Call is located on the west side of the stadium off Sun Bowl Drive at the entrance of the Press Box parking lot.

Shuttles will be available from the upper south parking lot to take guests from the south-end ticket office to the west-side media gate or the north-end Will Call trailer.
