El Paso Red Cross Asking For Donations

The El Paso chapter of the American Red Cross is monitoring developments following the earthquake that struck the California-Mexico border Easter Sunday afternoon.

While the local chapter has not been asked for help by the Red Cross in California, El Paso chapter officials say they are ready if that changes.

Meanwhile, the El Paso Red Cross has been put under considerable financial strain due to a string of recent house fires and wind damage in the El Paso area, and is urgently asking the community for donations.

If you would like to donate, visit www.redcrosselpaso.org or call (915) 592-0208. The American Red Cross office in El Paso is located at 3620 Admiral Street.
