UTEP QB Vittatoe Has Shoulder Surgery

UTEP quarterback Trevor Vittatoe was set to return to spring football practice on Tuesday afternoon after his two week suspension but there was a hiccup in that plan.

Vittatoe has to sit out the rest of spring because of an injury. The senior had minor surgery on his shoulder and he should be back in six weeks.

Vittatoe started feeling an irritation on the end of his clavicle about two or three weeks ago and had the procedure done. He sees it as a blessing in disguise.
