Arrest Made In Northeast El Paso Shooting

El Paso Police have arrested an 18-year-old woman in connection with a shooting in Northeast El Paso just after midnight Wednesday.

Sara Flores, of the 3900 block of Edgar Park, was arrested in the shooting of a 30-year-old Los Angeles man who received gunshot wounds to a leg and hand. The shooting occurred in the same block where Flores lives.

Flores was not the shooter but did act with the shooter in the case, according to police officials. Flores was booked in to the El Paso County Detention Facility on two counts of Criminal Attempt Capital Murder (First Degree Felony ). Her bond totaled $10,000. At this time Police have also detained another subject in this case but have not released that person’s name.

Police said the shooting was possibly connected to a robbery.

More arrests are possible as this investigation continues.
