Time For Paletas And Ice Cream, First 90-degree Day Of The Year Has Arrived

The weather today will surely fit the hot theme for Cinco de Mayo as highs warm up into the 90s for the first time this year with plenty of afternoon sunshine and some breezes.

It will be even warmer tomorrow as southwesterly winds crank up into the windy category with peak wind gusts possibly reaching 40 mph.

Blowing dust and sand are not expected with this particular system, but it may be a different story around Mother’s Day on Sunday.

Highs will stay in the 90s for the rest of the week and weekend, but the breezes will pick up Sunday and even stronger on Monday with highs returning to the 80s.
