Trial Continues For Man Accused Of Molesting Relatives In Las Cruces
The Las Cruces man accused of molesting four of his relatives could soon know his fate.
The prosecution rested in the trial of 34-year-old John Eric Ochoa.
Prosecutors spent most of Tuesday presenting their witnesses. Among them, the four relatives of Ochoa who gave graphic details of how he would allegedly molest them repeatedly.
The childrens’ mother also testified, saying “why my children?” as she broke down on the stand.
Ochoa was visibly upset by the testimony, sobbing during a short recess.
Closing arguments are expected to take place Wednesday after the defense presents witnesses.
