Search The Hot Check Writers List

In the upcoming weeks El Paso County Sheriff officers, County Constables, Texas DPS Troopers, officers with the Fort Bliss Military Police, and Investigators with the County Attorney?s Office will conduct hot check warrant arrest operations in El Paso County. An amnesty period ended on Monday, June 7 for individuals to avoid arrests and avoid paying additional fees during the upcoming warrant round-up.

Residents with outstanding hot check warrants can make their payments in person at the following locations:

? El Paso County Courthouse 500 E. San Antonio, room 503 (5th floor) Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m ? El Paso County Ysleta Annex 9521 Socorro Rd., Suite A-3 Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m

Forms of payment accepted include most credit cards, money orders, cashiers checks, and cash, however those paying cash must bring the exact amount (cashiers can’t give change). In addition, residents can make payments online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through ?Hot Check Epay,? by visiting the El Paso County Attorney?s Office web-page at www.epcounty.com/CA.

As of Friday May 28, 2010, records of El Paso County indicate that the following 3,689 individuals had a warrant for their arrest. A name placed on this list is not evidence of guilt. This information is prepared from public records and may not be current and should not be relied on for arrests or any other purposes. This list is informational only and is limited to misdemeanor ?Theft by Check? cases. Although reasonable care is taken, clerical errors may exist. Searches based on a name are not always accurate due to use of middle/maiden/married names, or variations in spelling.
