Actress America Ferrera Engaged To Former El Pasoan
Actress America Ferrera is engaged to former El Pasoan Ryan Piers Williams, CNN has confirmed.
The two first met several years ago at the University of Southern California when Williams cast her in his student film about the murdered women in Juarez.
She also recently starred in his film, “The Dry Land,” which was screened at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Portions of the movie were filmed in El Paso.
Ferrera was spotted wearing the ring as she walked the red carpet at the Edinburgh Film Festival in Scotland on Wednesday.
Williams, a former employee at KVIA-TV Channel 7, attended Hanks High School and USC’s film school.
