24 Arrested For Various Thefts From Convenience Stores

PAST WEEKEND BEER RUN OPERATIONS SEE TWENTY-FOUR CHARGED

The El Paso Police Department charged 24 individuals over the past weekend with various thefts from numerous convenience stores throughout the city.

Charges ranged from Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity (Theft), to Class B Theft of Propane tanks. Sixteen individuals were arrested in four separate incidents within the Pebble Hills area. Fourteen of those were adults and two were juveniles.

Nine of the sixteen who were arrested in Pebble Hills were arrested on Friday, two of those being juveniles, five being charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, one being charged with Possession of Marihuana.

Seven more individuals were arrested on Saturday and all charged with Theft (Beer). The Central Regional Command charged eight individuals for Theft (Beer) in four separate incidents during the weekend. One of the incidents occurred on Friday evening, two on Saturday and one early Sunday morning. Three of those eight were identified as juveniles and charges ranged from Theft (Beer), Evading Arrest, and Minor in Possession of Alcohol. The Mission Valley Regional command charged two men in a Saturday morning Theft (Beer & Propane). The thefts occurred from two different locations.
