UPDATE: Northeast House Fire

A father and four children made it out safely from a house fire this afternoon.

It happened in Northeast El Paso, on the 10400 block of Aphonia. When crews got there, they saw smoke and flames coming out of the home.

Investigators tell ABC-7 the father was cooking lunch on a stove when a flame got out of hand. A few pets were also in the house.

This was the fourth major fire in El Paso since Friday.

Damage is estimated at $75,000
