Patriotic Candy Wreath Benefits Support Group

A depression support group is selling patriotic 4th of July wreaths made of Hershey’s chocolate kisses.

Money raised by the sale of wreaths benefits the support group which reaches out to people who may not have insurance to cover treatment and soldiers who might fear going through official channels because they’re worried about having a mental health notation on their permanent record.

The support group meets Mondays from 5 to 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church on Murchison Drive in Central El Paso.

The depression support group is open to military and civilians alike, and family members who may be concerned about a relative suffering from depression but are afraid to get help.

Each red, white, and blue wreath costs $35. Information: Rick Winton, 493-3263 or email him at ramorat@aol.com.
