Manhunt Monday 05/03/10: Victor Manuel Morales

This week?s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual wanted for a violent home invasion that occurred in September 2009. The target is VICTOR MORALES (18) of El Paso, TX.

SEPTEMBER 2009- On September 30th, 2009 at approximately 3:15 am, EPPD Officers responded to an Aggravated assault call in progress at a residence in the 200 block of Cherry El Paso County, Texas. An investigation revealed that VICTOR MORALES & other accomplices (2) – all members of a criminal street gang (Latin Kings), went to the mentioned residence in attempt to locate a male individual that they had problems with. Once MORALES & his accomplices arrived, they all forced their way into the residence & demanded to know where the male subject was. A short time later, the male subject / Victim arrived at the house as the gang members were waiting for him. As soon as MORALES & his accomplices observed the Victim enter the residence, they proceeded to physically assault him. The altercation proceeded outside as MORALES & company continued to assault the Victim. Female friends of the Victim attempted to aid him & they too were physically assaulted by the trio with closed closed fists about their head & body. During the altercation, one of MORALES? accomplices retrieved a baseball bat from his vehicle & attempted to strike said victims. The Victims retreated back into the house and locked the door. One of MORALES? accomplices was able to produce an unknown type of knife and started stabbing at the door window which was covered by a piece of card board. The subject with the knife cut through the card board & threatened the victims with the knife at which time EPPD Units arrived on scene. The trio observed the EPPD patrol units & attempted to flee on foot in a desperate attempt to elude apprehension. MORALES & his accomplices were caught, positively identified & arrested that night for the offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity- Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon.

MORALES bonded out a short time & has failed to show for court for this incident. On 04-22-10, the 168th District court has reissued a warrant of apprehension for VICTOR MORALES for the offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. Authorities have attempted to locate MORALES but have been unable to find him as he continues to elude capture. MORALES is said to remain in the Borderland hiding with family & friends eluding capture.

Callers will remain anonymous & may be eligible for a reward if the information provided leads to the apprehension of the individuals featured.
