Officials: Dean’s Assistants Arrested In Textbook Scheme

Two dean?s assistants at El Paso Community College have been arrested in connection with a textbook scheme, officials said. EPCC officials said Rebecca Ortega and Jeanette Dominguez work for a dean at the Northwest campus

EPCC spokesman Jim Heiney said arrests were made Saturday afternoon in an ongoing investigation involving the assistants. Investigators said the women used college money to buy books and then sell them for personal gain.
