Update: Alleged Drunk Driver Crashes Into Chico’s Tacos
A 25-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated and crashing into a Chico’s Tacos on Sunday morning.
Luis Ojeda was driving a Ford Explorer at about 4:30 a.m. Sunday when he crashed into the the Chico’s Tacos on Alameda, creating a huge hole in the restaurant after the business had closed.
ABC-7 spoke with a Chico’s Taco employee at the scene who happened to be mopping the floors after at the time of the crash. He said he heard a noise just in time and narrowly avoided being hit by the car.
The employee said, that to his knowledge, no one was injured.
