Manhunt Monday 08/30/10: Vincent Escobar

This week?s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual wanted violent family violence incidents. The target is identified as VINCENT ALEXANDER ESCOBAR (17) of Fabens, Texas.

AUGUST 2010: On 08-12-2010 at approximately 12:10 am, Sheriff?s Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of Florinda in Tornillo, TX in reference to a family violence incident in progress. Deputies arrived & met with a 16 year-old Victim who was very hysterical & appeared to have a swelling black eye developing under her right eye. The Victim stated minutes earlier, she was at home watching television when suddenly heard a loud crashing sound emitting from the kitchen area and saw that the window had been shattered out. The Victim observed her ex-boyfriend outside who was identified as VINCENT ESCOBAR who kept yelling at the Victim to exit her home.The Victim quickly called 911. As Deputies were responding, ESCOBAR climbed through a bedroom window and began to assault the victim by punching her in the face & arms with closed fists.

ESCOBAR managed to elude capture the night of this incident but Deputies caught up to him & arrested him a week later 08/19. ESCOBAR bonded out the next day 08/20.

This past Friday night 08-27-2010 at 8:12 pm, Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of O.T. Smith in Tornillo, Texas in reference to an Assault / Family Violence call. The same 16 year-old Victim advised Deputies she had been hiding from ESCOBAR but he kept trying to locate her until he successfully found her. ESCOBAR again became violent with the Victim grabbing her by her throat, squeezing & picking her up while holding on to her throat. ESCOBAR then pushed her up against a wall and then grabbed her by the arms & began shaking her around before abruptly leaving the scene prior to Deputies arrival. Deputies observed redness around the Victims neck area confirming injuries. ESCOBAR managed to again elude capture.

Charges have since been filed against ESCOBAR for this latest incident. ESCOBAR has violently assaulted the Victim twice in the past 3 weeks. ESCOBAR remains on the run since & is believed to remain in the Borderland hiding with friends & relatives. ESCOBAR is the 2nd youngest subject ever to be featured on Manhunt Monday.

Sheriff?s Officials are asking the public – if anyone has seen or has any information on the whereabouts of VINCENT ALEXANDER ESCOBAR to please contact the Sheriff?s Office (915) 546-2280 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-TIPS (8477). Callers will remain anonymous & may be eligible for a reward if the information provided leads to the apprehension of the individuals featured.
