This Year’s Sun Bowl Parade Grand Marshal: You
Sun Bowl Association officials on Thursday announced this year’s FirstLight Federal Credit Union Sun Bowl Parade grand marshals would be all El Pasoans because everybody helped the city earn a national honor.
Sun Bowl Association officials said they came to that decision because the city was named an All American City this year.
Past grand marshals have included Houston Oilers wide receiver Haywood Jeffires and Dora the Explorer.
The annual parade takes place on Thanksgiving Day and draws a crowd of around 300,000, according to parade officials. The parade features floats, giant helium balloons, clowns, and marching bands.
