Update: Shots Fired At El Paso Nightclub

Panic outside an east El Paso night club after someone allegedly fired a gun into the air at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

El Paso police said as officers arrived on the scene they learned of a fist fight that led to a man firing a weapon in to the air just outside Bandoleros Night Club on Lee Trevino.

Officials said police received several calls about shots being fired.

Police on the scene said they didn’t find anyone who may have been hurt by the gunfire still at the scene, but did find shell casings on the ground.

Investigators said they’ve identified one possible victim who contacted police from a home and wasn’t at the scene when authorities got there. They said that person had only minor injuries.

Police have yet to identify any possible suspects or motives in this case.

Authorities are asking for anyone with information on the suspect or any other possible victims in this case to contact the police at 915-832-4400 or Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477.
