New Flight Travel Rules Take Effect Nov. 1

The Transportation Security Administration’s Secure Flight program that requires travelers to provide their full name, date of birth and gender for airplane passengers effective on Monday, November 1, 2010.

Many carriers have requested the required information from travelers for several months, but some online travel agents just recently started asking for it. Experts suggest that travelers allow for more time at the airport in case of delays.
