Manhunt Monday 11/29/10: Daniel Aguilar Jr.

This week?s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual wanted for a violent family violence incident that occurred in July 2008. The target is identified as DANIEL AGUILAR JR. (28) of El Paso, TX.

JULY 2008: EPPD Officers were dispatched a residence in the 4000 block of Leeds El Paso, TX in reference to a family fight in progress. Officers arrived and met with a female victim who told authorities she & AGUILAR JR. (her boyfriend at the time) were arguing over issues when he proceeded to violently assault her. The Victim suffered a swollen eye, nose & jaw as a result of the assault. A close relative heard yelling & went to see what was going on when he encountered AGUILAR JR. who began threatening the relative while yielding the knife at him. AGUILAR JR. fled the scene shortly after but was located & arrested later that night by EPPD Officers who charged him with ASSAULT / FAMV & AGGRAVATED ASSAULT W/ DEADLY WEAPON.

Since the 2008 incident, AGUILAR JR. has violated the terms of his probation & has failed to show for court on the above offenses to include violating his probation. The 243rd District Court has issued a warrant of arrest for the apprehension of DANIEL AGUILAR JR. for AGGRAVATED ASSAULT W/ DEADLY WEAPON CHARGES.

DANIEL AGUILAR JR. is believed to remain in the Borderland eluding capture. He has several contacts in the El Paso, Texas area & could possibly be hiding with friends or relatives.
