2 El Paso Men Arrested For Allegedly Tagging With Marker In Front Of Cops

If officers hadn’t witnessed the alleged incident themselves, they might have thought it was an April Fool’s Day joke being pulled on them.

El Paso Police plain clothes officers arrested two men for allegedly tagging a window and a payphone adjacent to an East El Paso police station with a permanent marker on the afternoon of April 1.

Officers said they saw William Hernandez, 27, of the 6200 block of Victoria and Brian Borges, 20, of the 1300 block of Oakdale, were arrested for graffiti less than $20,000.

Hernandez was also booked into the El Paso County Jail on 15 outstanding municipal court charges with bonds totaling $3,500. Borges was booked on the graffiti charge on a bond of $3,000.
