Manhunt Monday 08/08/11: Christian Elihu Montalvo

This week?s Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual sought for a violent sexual assault on a woman last Thursday morning 08/04. The target is identified as CHRISTIAN ELHIU MONTALVO (30) of EL Paso, TX.

On Friday 08-05-11, the El Paso Police Department released a Wanted Bulletin on MONTALVO ? now MANHUNT MONDAY joins the ?hunt? for his capture. He is also one of CRIME STOPPERS OF EL PASO Most Wanted.

AUGUST 2011: On Thursday August 4, 2011, at about 2:45am Officers from the El Paso Police Department?s Crime Against Persons (CAP) unit secured a warrant for the arrest CHRISTIAN ELHIU MONTALVO for the offense of AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT.

The investigation revealed that MONTALVO and the victim met at a bar in the 9200 block of Gateway West. MONTALVO took the victim to his residence in the 3500 block of Rivera where he used a knife to cut the victim?s throat prior to sexually assaulting her.

MONTALVO released the victim after the incident. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. MONTALVO used a blue, 1997 Ford Explorer during the incident, but also drives a mid 1990?s green, Ford Contour without tinted windows.

CHRISTIAN ELHIU MONTALVO is described as a Hispanic Male 5?11? , 165lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. MONTALVO knows he is wanted & remains on the run eluding capture.CAP Investigators believe that MONTALVO may frequent other bars or bar/restaurants throughout El Paso. MONTALVO is known to frequent Juarez, Mexico.
