Undercover Deputies Make Ecstasy Arrests At Aoki Rave

Deputies working undercover during a rave last week at the El Paso County Coliseum arrested four men on suspicion of possession of ecstasy.

Deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Strike Team conducted the sting operation during the Steve Aoki concert on Saturday. They were sent inside the concert venue in an attempt to make contact with anyone who was selling drugs.

Deputies arrested 20-year-old Eric Terrence Ledesma; 18-year-old Edward Ray Hernandez; 27-year-old Adriel Israel Fasolino; and 26-year-old Jaime Delcampo. Each was arrested on suspicion of possession or delivery of a controlled substance.

Ecstasy is a synthetic drug that comes in a tablet form. It is often branded with popular logos such as the Nike swoosh or shapes such as shamrocks or smiley faces.

Ecstasy is referred to a “E” or “X” or “rolls.” People who take ecstasy are said to be rolling.

According to drugfree.org, ecstasy is commonly takes at dance parties (raves), clubs and other parties to keep on dancing and for mood enhancement.
