100 Arrested In Drug Sting In Otero, Lincoln Counties

An eight month undercover drug investigation in Otero and Lincoln counties culminated Friday morning when Otero and Lincoln county sheriffs deputies, backed by Mescalero police, conducted a large drug roundup.

Officers served 112 warrants for various felony crimes ranging from drug possession to drug dealing and arrested 100 individuals. All were processed after their arrest at the Otero County Fairgrounds.

Twenty local, state and federal law enforcement agencies took part in the roundup.
