Silver Alert Issued For Missing 83-Year-Old Man

The El Paso Police Department has issued a local Silver Alert and are requesting a State alert for 83-year-old Francisco Marin.

Marin suffers from Alzheimer?s Disease and left the foster home that is currently caring for him. Marin is described as a Hispanic Male, 5-foot-1 to 5-foot-3 in height, and a small build (100 pounds to 110 pounds) with a light complexion.

He was last seen wearing a burgundy colored jacket, a white cowboy hat and black slacks and brown boots.

Police said he is believed to be attempting to go to his former residence in the 400 block of S. Ochoa in Central El Paso.

Marin only speaks Spanish and requires medications for his condition. He was last seen walking west on Yandell around 2 p.m. Monday.

Anyone with information should call 911 immediately.
