El Paso Sheriff’s Office Arrest 9 In Prostitution Sting

The El Paso County Sheriff?s Strike Team conducted a prostitution sting last week targeting people allegedly soliciting for prostitution via the internet.

The operation took place from March 21-23 and resulted in the arrest of nine individuals.

Sheriff’s officials call prostitution a continuous problem in the community that leads to and many times is the source of other crimes such as assaults, robberies and illegal drug use.
