Clothing That Fits Properly Hard To Find For Shorter, Plumper Consumers In Mexico, Study Finds

Choosing clothing that fits just right can be a challenge, especially in Mexico.

According to a new survey, men and women in Mexico are frequently unable to find anything that fits them because they are typically shorter and thicker in the body than Europeans and other Latin populations the clothing is designed for.

The research conducted shows that the county’s apparel industry loses $4 billion annually in returned merchandise and called for more to be done to better suit the Mexican consumer.
