Police Investigating Deadly Accident In West El Paso

Police are investigating a deadly accident near Colbert Elementary in west El Paso.

The body of a man was found inside a crashed Nissan X-Terra SUV near Resler and Black Ridge shortly before 5 a.m. Thursday.

A police spokesman tells ABC-7 it is unclear if the driver died as a result of injuries sustained in the wreck.

Investigators will have to wait for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
