Manhunt Monday 05/07/12: Hector Montelongo

This week?s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an individual who violently assaulted a woman. The target has been identified as HECTOR MONTELONGO (45) of El Paso, TX.

APRIL 2012 On 04-08-2012 at approximately 10:15 am, Deputies were called to a home in Montana Vista reference an Assault in progress. Deputies arrived & met with the female Victim who told authorities she arrived home from church & was violently assaulted by her ex-boyfriend identified a HECTOR MONTELONGO. During the assault, MONTELONGO grabbed the Victim by the hair throwing her to the ground & proceeded to violently assault her by striking her on the head with a flash light. In an attempt to rescue the Victim, a third party had to strike MONTELONGO with a blunt object to get him to stop assaulting the Victim. MONTELONGO fled from the scene shortly after as the Victim called 911. The Victim sustained several injuries as a result of this brutal attack & had to be transported to a local hospital. Charges were filed a short time later.

A warrant has been issued for the apprehension HECTOR MONTELONGO on the offense of AGGRAVATED ASSAULT W/ DEADLY WEAPON / FAMILY VIOLENCE.

MONTELONGO knows he is wanted and continues eluding capture. He is believed to remain in the Borderland. His Criminal History shows arrests for the offenses of: AGGRAVATED ASSAULT W/ DEADLY WEAPON, SEVERAL DWI?s, PROBATION VIOLATION, VIOLATION OF A PROTECTIVE ORDER, & FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.
