Zookeeper Saves Tiny Monkey’s Life By Licking Its Butt Until It Poops
Earlier this week a zookeeper at Wuhan Zoo in China named Zhang Bangsheng helped save a monkey’s life in a unique way.
The day after letting the monkey explore the exhibit for the first time Zhang noticed the monkey had “indigestion and difficulty defecating” because the monkey had eaten a peanut whole. Zhang knew that if the peanut was not passed quickly that the monkey could die.
The zookeeper then washed the monkey’s buttocks and began to lick the buttocks for more than an hour until the monkey defecated a single peanut. Zhang then let out a laugh.
The monkey was too small to be given medicine.
