Former Police Chief Leon Wins County Commissioner Precinct 1 Race

Carlos Leon, the former El Paso Police chief, has won the race for El Paso Commissioners Court Precinct 1.

Leon has 6,544 votes (55 percent) compared to 3,600 votes (30 percent) for Liza Montelongo and 1,826 votes (15.25 percent) for Jaime Romo.
