Free Meal Program In El Paso, Canutillo

Below is a list of schools that will be serving breakfast and/or lunch during the summer. ABC-7 has received this information from El Paso, Ysleta, Socorro and Canutillo school districts.

EPISD

The program is open to children from 1 to 18 years and there is no eligibility requirement. Although dates and serving times may vary for each campus, breakfast is scheduled to be served from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Sites serving breakfast and lunch from June 11-28 are: Aoy, Burnet, Crockett, Dowell, Fannin, Green, Hawkins, Hughey, Lamar, Milam, Roberts & Tippin elementary schools; Guillen, Henderson, Hornedo, and Richardson middle schools; and MacArthur Elementary/Intermediate School.

High schools providing meals June 14-July 13 are: Andress, Austin, Bowie, Burges, Chapin, Coronado, El Paso, Irvin, Jefferson, Sunset and Transmountain Early College high schools. Other campuses serving meals June 14-July 13 are School Age Parent Center and the Franklin Ninth Grade Center.

Canutillo ISD meals: Meals will be provided Monday through Thursday as follows: Breakfast from 7:30-9:00 a.m., Lunch from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Meals are free to all children ages one to eighteen years of age. Adults may purchase meals ala carte. All Canutillo ISD facilities will be closed on Fridays beginning the week of June 11 through August 3.

The Socorro ISD Child Nutrition Department will offer free meals to all children ages 18 and under from June 4 through July 3. The Summer Food Program provides nutritious meals at no cost to all children at participating school sites. To participate, just show up. No fees. No registration. Breakfast will be available at participating campuses Monday-Friday from 8 to 8:30 a.m. Lunch will be available at participating campuses Monday-Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. SISD schools participating in the summer food service program:
