Fort Hancock’s 1A Run Ends

The Fort Hancock Mustangs baseball season came to a close on Saturday at the 1A Regional Semifinal. Playing in game two of their best of three series with Anson the Mustangs were in a do or die situation.

After trailing early by a score of four to two, the Mustangs were able to put two on the board in the bottom of the half to cut their deficit in half. Anson, however, stormed back with 10 unanswered runs to beat the Mustangs 14-2.

Fort Hancock finishes the year with a record of 15-11.
