Emergence Health Network to have its first prom for its clients

Staffers at the Emergence Health Network, a state-funded agency which helps people with mental health and intellectual developmental disabilities, decided to throw their clients a prom.

In order to accomplish this endeavor, a clothing drive has been created to encourage the community to donate dresses and suits that clients can wear to the prom.

The clothes may be dropped off at Emergence’s location in Northeast El Paso at 9565 Diana. Drop them off by Tuesday so they can be cleaned or drop them off already cleaned.

Volunteers also decorated a gym area so that prom-goers will get the full prom experience.

The prom will not be open to the general public. For more information on the Emergence Health Network go to their website.
