New board of managers sworn in at EPISD
A new board of managers has been sworn in and led their first board meeting Tuesday night. Texas Education Agency Commissioner Michael Williams attended the meeting.
The board consists of Ed Archuleta who was not at the meeting; , Carmen Arrieta-Cadelaria; Dee Margo; Blanca Enriques and Judy Castleberry.
Williams addressed the board and said he is confident in their ability to restore confidence and trust in the district. Williams told media he was not giving the board a timeline, but expects to remove them in less than two years.
