Estela’s Escuelas: 6th graders learn how to help their parents conserve energy

The El Paso Electric Company’s Living Wise program helps teachers and students learn about conserving water and electricity.

Students at Camino Real Middle School received kits that will teach them how to make a few changes at home that will lower their parent’s electric bill.

The program is already part of 6th grade science curriculum energy on energy in El Paso are schools.

Along with the information, the kids get to take home the kit with florescent lamps, a shower head, a kitchen and bathroom faucet aerator, and a digital thermometer.
